Hi! My name is Vani Maragalla & I'm UI/UX Designer based in London with
5+ years of experience. I believe in design thinking.

I help companies build focused and profitable digital products to design simple, intuitive websites and apps people love to use.

My design process is hands-on, iterative, and transparent. My work ranges from research on best practices to prototyping and crafting beautiful user interfaces, to defining unique visual languages and design systems. With a focus on visual design and a user-dev-business driven mindset, I design cutting edge UI solutions that solve user pain points and are easy to build plus increase value and conversion.

RESEARCH

Learning about the audience for whom am I designing, by observation and interviews. Who is my user? What matters to this person?

DESIGN

Defining point of view which is based on user needs and insights. Brainstorming and coming up with as many creative solutions as possible.

PROTOTYPE

Creating low-fidelity objects and experiences to understand context and key features. Quickly build to think and learn.

TEST

Testing with customers to refine solutions and gathering data. Gaining deeper empathy and embracing failure

ABOUT

Concept Design Prototype

I make it simple, but significant. I like solving user and business problems through functional design.

Over the past 5+ years, I’ve been working with great teams across rising start-up's, corporations, and personal projects. I was fortunate enough to learn and refine my skills, designing intuitive B2C and B2B web and mobile products for clients in Telecom, e-commerce marketing, human resources, finance, health, travel, and social sectors, working solo and leading small teams.

I enjoy empathizing with people and crafting digital experiences, which empower users and boost business growth. I invest my time into building a space where the needs of both users and business meet.

With a problem-solving mindset, I help my clients to create designs that are aesthetically pleasing, technically refined, and easy to use. Outside of work, I love to hang out with my family or with friends. Some of my favourite activities are having a few cold drinks, listening to music, camping, cooking and netflix.

PORTFOLIO

I design digital products that are useful, usable, and delightful. These are the core principles of my design process -
Mindfulness to identify what I don't know.
Curiosity to explore the systems of the unknown.
Creativity to translate understanding into meaningful action.

SKILLS

One thing keeps me grounded is human-centered design.

I find peace in knowing that no matter what the day brings (designing from scratch or collaborating on projects with others), I always strive to design with our end users in mind.
